I got this one from my mother in law. I have made it a few times, and it is so yummy!
Ingredients:
Dough:
1 package (2 teaspoons) dry active yeast
1 Cup warm water
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
2 1/2 Cups flour
Sauce:
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 teaspoon minced onion
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/4 Cup parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Toppings:
1/2 package pepperoni slices
(6 oz.) grated cheese, mozzarella, and cheddar
other toppings of choice
Directions: Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Mix yeast in warm water. Stir in sugar, salt, vegetable oil, and flour. Use a little more flour if dough gets too sticky. Beat vigorously 20 storkes. Let rest for 5 minutes. Cover pizza pan with foil, and grease. Put dough on lightly greased, foil covered pizza pan using floured fingers.
Place tomato sauce in a small bowl. Add minced onion, pepper, parnesan cheese, and italian seasoning. Mix together. Spread sauce over dough in pan. Sprinkle with cheese, and top with pepperoni. Bake pizza at 425 degrees for about 25 minutes on bottom rack of oven.
